Thank you for purchasing a Maul Tech ATV Steering Stabilizer, your business is appreciated.
1.) Make sure that all pieces are included in your package (stem clamp, frame clamp, stabilizer, bolt to hold stabilizer to mount, coned spacer, and 6 allen head bolts).
2.) Install frame clamp onto the frame right side if you are facing your ATV) about 2-4 inches up from the upper A-Arm mount. Do not tighten at this time.
3.) Install stem clamp onto stem (tab facing up, pointing LEFT if you are facing your ATV). Do not tighten at this time.
4.) Install stabilizer shock knob facing toward the front of your ATV, then bolt stabilizer eye to the stem clamp using the supplied bolt, spacer and nut then tighten them.
5.) Once you have found the desired mount location, tighten all clamps.
6.) Move the handlebars all the way to the left and then all the way to the right, making sure that the stem hits both steering stops without binding.
Your Maul Tech ATV Steering Stabilizer has seven different dampening positions, try them all until you find your desired firmness!
Note: There are many different ways to mount these stabilizers and there is no 1 correct way. Just make sure there is no binding or obstructions that the stabilizer is hitting that will cause your steering to lock.
